Charcoal Ring Kilns are the simplest most reliable pieces of kit to make great quality charcoal.

The most common use of charcoal is for cooking on a barbeque, if native British hardwoods are used, not only will it light quickly without the need for lighter fuel but it will burn hot for a long time.

WOODSMITH has almost thirty years of practical experience making charcoal. Mainly for the bbq market including more than 10 years commercial production using 6' double ring kilns.

So, whether you are interested in a WOODSMITH MINI or MIDI kilns to make small quantities for personal use (and family and friends of course) or larger scale production using our 5' diameter and above commercial kilns, we have the knowledge and experience to advise on which kiln will best suit your needs.

Our kilns are durable and long lasting.

If you are new to the black art of charcoal burning, each kiln comes with written operating instructions and telephone support if required.

After extensive service, typically after 10 years or more, components such as ports may need replacing so we also supply replacement parts.
