Ochsenkopf

Ochsenkopf (Oxhead) is Germany's oldest axe forge specialising in high quality forestry and carpentry axes and other tools.

Most of their tools are made from C60 steel characterized by enormous toughness and long service life.

Hickory is the wood typically used for their handles which is break resistant and flexible.

They make a wide range of forestry axes but it is some of their forestry related products that have caught our attention such as drawknives, debarking spuds and double-bit throwing axes.
