A good choice for Country Parks, Nature Reserves and private woodland owners wanting to make charcoal. Converting smaller quantities of small diameter hardwood thinning's into barbeque charcoal for personal use, friends and family,

A lower output portable kiln, which can be operated in conjunction with other similar kilns for increased efficiency.  Whilst one or more kilns are burning others can be emptied and recharged.

Using native hardwoods it should be possible to achieve an average output of 110kg per burn.

An EXTENSION RING 5' Charcoal Kiln can be added at a later date to increase output by approx 33%.  The original lid will still fit.

Made from mild steel of various thicknesses: (NOTE: ALL DIMENSIONS ARE APPROXIMATE)

• 1 x Ring - 3mm,  15000mm / 5' diameter x 1000m / 39" high (Top flange - 5mm, Bottom Flange - 10mm)
• 1 x Lid - 1.6mm with 25mm x 5mm stiffening flange
• 6 x Ports -  5mm
• 3 x Chimneys (100mm dia, 1.8m /6' long ERW tubing)

It is always advisable to handle and move these heavy kilns with machinery or at least two people.
