Allback Swedish Linseed Soap is a traditional product made from cold-pressed raw, purified linseed oil and water, this soap contains no additives and is excellent for cleaning brushes after applying Allbäck linseed oil paint. It also works well for cleaning woodenware and flooring, especially prior to Linseed Paint or Linseed Putty application. Solvent-free, safe and easy to use, it has a low environmental impact.

We also carry Allbäck zinc oxide additive and linseed oil paint, wax and boiled oil, which, along with the soap, function as a system of compatible, complementary products.

Each bottle contains 500ml of soap. We recommend you use approximately 100ml of soap per bucket of water.

Allbäck Linseed Oil is produced in Ystad, Sweden, using flax grown at Gunnarshögs farm in Skåne. Following traditional 18th-century methods, the oil is cleaned and filtered to remove protein and impurities, creating a high-quality product ideal for wood care. Founded in Sweden in 1982, Allbäck combines knowledge of centuries-old European craft traditions with modern manufacturing methods to make products from high-quality natural ingredients.
