This traditional Swedish linseed oil paint by Allbäck is perfect for adding bold, lasting colour to carved and crafted wooden items. It's especially well-suited to painting chairs, spoon handles, stools, and tool handles - offering a breathable, natural finish that protects as well as decorates. Made using purified boiled linseed oil and natural pigments, it penetrates deeply into wood and can also be used on metal, plastic, or corrugated steel. It’s a single-pot system, meaning the same paint is used for all coats. While it’s safe for craft use, it’s not recommended for surfaces that come into direct contact with food, such as the inside of bowls.

Coverage: approx. 15–20 m² per litre (3–4 m² per 200ml)
Drying time: ~24 hours (ensure good ventilation)
Thin with up to 5% boiled linseed oil if needed
Clean up with linseed soap and water
For exterior use, zinc oxide is recommended to improve mould and algae resistance
