New bowsaws often come with a flimsy plastic blade guard which often break and are easily lost. They then become dangerous when being carried and transported, especially for young and/or inexperienced work groups.

These robust and durable wooden blade guards are hand-made from grooved ash or beech and finished with a light coat of linseed oil then waxed.

Held securely in place on the bowsaw blade with two thick leather straps and poppers.

Colour of leather straps may vary.

Wooden Sheath for Bowsaws is perfect for either personal tools or conservation group tools.
