When splitting firewood for example, it is a possibility that the axe goes beyond it's intended target and the handle below the head gets damaged. An overshoot protector can help reduce this damage and save the handle from needing replacement.

Made from a template that attempts to fit the majority of Gransfors Bruk Small Forest Axes, but as every axe is essentially hand made therefore there will be small differences to each axe especially to the lugs.

Made from veg tan leather approx. 2mm thick.

Fastens with flat black leather thonging.
