Charcoal Kiln MINI is the smallest version in the WOODSMITH charcoal kiln range.

A steel kiln for the production of charcoal on a small scale.

Small woodland owners, countryside parks, agriculture / forestry colleges and conservation groups will find a kiln of this size very useful as a means of converting small quantities of low value hardwood into valuable BBQ charcoal.

Capable of producing about 15 - 20kg of charcoal from hardwoods such as oak, birch and sycamore.

Not really suitable for commercial production of charcoal but it's ideal for demonstrations, teaching and small-scale personal production.  A burn can be completed within one day, typically about 4 - 5 hours,

Easily moved and transported in a small van/pick up or possibly some estate cars, with care

Unlike our larger commercial kilns this one will be easier to store under lock and key when not in use.

Made from mild steel of various thicknesses:

Includes:

• 1 x Ring - 3mm, 790mm (31") diameter x 635mm (25") high. Top flange - 5mm, Bottom Flange - 10mm.
• 1 x Lid - 1.6mm with stiffening ring and three handles.
• 4 x Ports - 3mm
• 2 x Chimneys made from high quality 1.5mm ERW tube, 1.2m (4') long x 75mm (3") dia.   A butterfly valve on each chimney is an additional way to control temperature

Charcoal Kiln MINI may come with a plain steel finish, unpainted.  Therefore, there may be some superficial traces of rust when you take delivery.
