Raye Hutton is a basketmaker, willow grower, teacher and writer with more than 35 years’ experience working with and teaching traditional crafts. Her work brings together practical experience, traditional knowledge and a fascination with the science behind natural materials.

Alongside teaching willow and basketry, Raye writes for Musgrove Willows and develops natural products through her Hedgerow Hare range. Her approach is rooted in understanding materials, working with the seasons, and knowing not just how something works, but why.
