The Thor Rawhide and Copper Hammer has a malleable iron head with a cylindrical face of compressed buffalo hide and one of copper on a wooden shaft. Used as a general-purpose soft-faced hammer, made in the UK by the Thor Hammer Co.

The perfect tool for timber framing or applications where damage to the struck material should be avoided. The buffalo rawhide face is extremely enduring whilst providing a high degree of impact absorption. The copper face offers a more persuasive beating option whilst reducing damage to timber when compared to an iron hammer. Both faces are designed to wear and can be replaced independently.
