The Svante Djarv Shrink Pot Gouge is a gouge specifically developed to make shrink pots. Please note this tool is sold without a handle, and is designed to be used as such. The blade is cranked backwards, so the tang 'handle' does not interfere with clearance as you work down the inside of the shrink pot. 

Best suited for internal work of your shrink pot. It is about 28cm long, has and incannel ground bevel, allows the flat back of the tool to act as a reference surface for paring long, straight channels and is ideally used together with a leather mallet or similar. The bevel width is about 28mm.
