Shinwa Sliding Bevel with Angle Scale
A well designed and equally made sliding bevel with angle scale from Shinwa (we've come to expect nothing less!) - ideal for marking, transferring, or setting angles in carpentry, joinery, timber framing, and furniture making.
Made from stainless steel with a lightweight but robust aluminium stock, this bevel can rotate a full 360° and be locked in place at any angle. The integrated angle scale allows you to set or measure angles between 20° and 135°, and the scale itself features a clever writable taped surface - you can mark it with a pencil and wipe clean with your finger, making it great for quick markings or angle transfers.
We've been genuinely impressed by how accurate the bevel angle is, and the braced design with its large locking screw gives a reassuringly rigid, secure feel in use. One issue we've encountered with other sliding bevels in the past has been a lack of stability once set - but this product holds its position exceptionally well. A great addition to any tool kit, whether you're on site or in the workshop.
