Shinwa Japanese Sliding Bevel – 15cm or 25cm
A sleek, well-made sliding bevel ideal for marking and transferring angles in fine(r) carpentry tasks and layout work.
With a slender stainless steel blade and a low-profile body, this bevel is particularly suited to finer jobs – especially when working off a flat reference surface. It doesn’t stabilise itself as firmly as heavier or wider stock bevels, so it benefits from being held in place during use. That said, it’s lightweight, precise, and perfect for detailed layout tasks.
The brass thumbscrew holds solidly once set, and the overall fit and finish is exactly what you’d expect from Shinwa – clean, accurate, and excellent value. A great little bevel to keep in the tool roll or toolbox for everyday use.
