Robert Sorby TIMBER FRAMERS' CHISELS 286 are a range of large, heavy duty, double-hooped beveled chisels designed to be struck with a mallet.

Side bevels enables under-cutting.

Designed to handle the rigours of deep heavy-duty work.

Handle is made from strong ash and is double hooped with steel ferrules. Handle 160mm (6 1/4") long.

A leather washer after the blades bolster designed to absorb shock.

Robert Sorby TIMBER FRAMERS' CHISELS 286 have an overall length of 405mm (16")

Available with custom-made leather edge protectors. Select 'Optional Edge Protectors' above

Comes with a factory grind of 30 degrees and will require honing before use.
