The Morris Peeler is a short handled, hand-held tool to remove bark from roundwood.

Bark peeling is best done in the spring/summer when the sap is rising, and when the tree has been freshly felled.  This way the bark will easily come away leaving a smooth surface.

Two sizes available:

• Small - 5" (130mm) long blade
• Large - 7" (170mm) long blade

The blade has been genuinely hammer forged with a full tang

The round handle is made from ash and is varnished
