The Morakniv 220 is a specialist wood-splitting knife, designed to help you break down wood into smaller sticks with control and efficiency. It features two barrel-shaped birch handles with finger guards for a secure grip, and a 2.5 mm blade crafted from recycled Swedish stainless steel.
This tool is also surprisingly versatile: by attaching an eye hook, it can be adapted into a pivoting knife, used in a similar way to a stock knife. This makes it especially handy for removing material from the outside of a kuksa or small bowls - as demonstrated in Paul Adamson’s book Kuksa.
Important Note – Please Read!
During a stock check, we found a number of these knives with very light tarnishing on the rivets. The blades themselves are stainless and unaffected, and the tarnish can be easily removed with super-fine wire wool if you wish. To save us hours of wire-wooling, we’re offering 25% off on affected products while stocks last. By purchasing at this reduced price, you accept that your knife may arrive with some surface tarnish on the rivets - but the function and performance of the tool are completely unaffected. Once the tarnished stock is sold through, the price will return to normal.Once they're gone, they're gone!
