Blades are hand-forged from laminated steel. Shaped specifically for wood carving.

Ground with a small hollow grind so easy to hone when required. However, from new these knives are razor sharp and ready to carve.

The Brut de Forge carbon steel blade comes with a black forged finish.

The birch handle is perfectly shaped for a good grip, 110mm (4 1/4") long approx. with fine facets.

The handle for each blade length is stained in a different colour, to aid easy recognition.

All Kay Embretsen CARVING KNIVES come with a beautiful hand-stitched blade guard with a welt.
