The Hultafors Arvika 5-Star Felling Axe is a large, hand-forged axe designed for serious chopping tasks and competitions.
Crafted in Sweden from high-quality steel at Hults Bruk, this axe carries a lifetime warranty (50 years) on the forging. Inspired by Australian Racing Pattern Axes, it features a polished, heavy head with a convex ground cutting edge for superior performance.
The axe head is clear lacquered and struck over 60 times to increase density and durability. Its long, curved handle, made from American hickory and treated with linseed oil, provides maximum speed and force when felling trees.

From the forge, these axes come ground with bevels that are very gently convex to about 45 degrees but will require sharpening and honing before use. Select 'Add Sharpening' above, and we will do this for you.
