Henry Taylor Tools
Acorn Straight Chisel No.1 are hand forged in Sheffield, and feature a traditional English style double bevel. This style of grind allows the user to closely control the cut, avoiding the tool following the grain of the wood, as can happen with single bevel chisels. Available in a range of cutting edge sizes, the Acorn Straight Chisels feature a faceted beech handle. These tools are designed to be pushed by hand rather than beaten with a mallet.
The hand forging process means that some imperfections may occur, although these will not compromise the quality of the tool.
