About Jack Sobon
Jack A. Sobon is an architect and builder specialising in traditional timber framing. Since 1980, he has dedicated himself to mastering the craft using only hand tools, having framed and raised over 60 structures. Jack is a founding director of the Timber Framers Guild of North America and the Traditional Timber Frame Research and Advisory Group. He has authored four books and taught more than 50 workshops focused on hand tool timber framing.
