While primarily designed for axes, its a versatile sharpening stone, capable of catering to tools like drawknives and out-cannel adzes. However, its utility doesn't extend to billhooks with concave curves. If you're facing a severely dulled edge, you might need a more abrasive solution initially like the Gränsfors Bruk Axe File, but for general upkeep and fine-tuning, the Gränsfors Bruk Axe Stone is an excellent choice.
