Ashley Iles Alongee Chisel 2" is a large chisel to produce smooth faces on pole lathe work.  Can also be used as conventional chisel.

A shorter more compact alternative to a 2" Pole Lathe Flat Chisel.

• Alongee style, i.e. the blade taper gradually all the way from the shoulder.

• Blade 6" (150mm) long with a single cannel (bevel) ground to 25 degrees.

• The cannel is slightly hollow ground and sharp, ready to use.

• Beech handle with brass ferrule 6" long.

• Ashley Iles Alongee Chisel 2" has a total length of 12" (305mm).
