Ashley Iles Alongee Chisel 2" is a large chisel to produce smooth faces on pole lathe work. Can also be used as conventional chisel.

A shorter more compact alternative to a 2" Pole Lathe Flat Chisel.

Included in the WOODSMITH Pole Lathe Tool Set II

Product details:

Alongee style, i.e. the blade taper gradually all the way from the shoulder.

Blade 6" (150mm) long with a single cannel (bevel) ground to 25 degrees.

The cannel is slightly hollow ground and sharp, ready to use.

Beech handle with brass ferrule 6" long.

Ashley Iles Alongee Chisel 2" has a total length of 12" (305mm).
