Allbäck Zinc Oxide is a traditional, high-purity additive designed for use only with linseed oil paint. Added in the correct proportions, it improves durability, speeds curing, and increases resistance to dirt, pollen, and algae - making it particularly valuable for exterior work. Available in 200ml containers.

For outdoor painting, add 10–20% zinc oxide to linseed oil paint. For darker colours, a maximum of 15% is recommended to avoid affecting the paint tone. Lighter colours can take up to 20% without visible change. Blue shades are more sensitive, so it’s best to start cautiously at 5–10%.

Zinc oxide helps the paint cure faster, producing a harder, more dirt-resistant surface. It can also be used indoors where a quicker drying time and tougher finish are desired.

• Use: Additive for linseed oil paint only (max 20%)

• Binder: Boiled, cold-pressed Swedish purified linseed oil

• Pigment: Zinc oxide

• Thinning: If required, max 5% boiled linseed oi

• VOC: 99%

• Coverage: 15–20 m² per litre (depending on surface)

• Application: Stir thoroughly before use. Apply in a well-covering layer, approx. 100 µm

• Drying Time: Approx. 24 hours at room temperature with good ventilation

• Cleaning: Mild pH-neutral detergent (e.g. washing-up liquid). Rinse well and allow to dry
