Veritas Laminate Sheets (Pack of 4) are used for attaching to the tempered glass plate which is included in the Veritas Stone Pond. A laminate sheet is included in the Stone Pond, however, these will eventually wear and need to be replaced. 
 
The tempered glass plate backed with laminate can be used in conjunction with 90 grit silicon carbide (supplied) to lap the stones to a flatness of plus or minus 0.001" per inch of stone length.
