The Oxhead Drawknife is a traditional pattern, made in Germany.

A tool used to shave wood, normally used in conjunction with a shavehorse to grip the work piece.

Two sizes available (please select from the drop down box above):

• 8 5/8" (225mm) cutting edge.
• 9 7/8" (250mm) cutting edge

Handles are dropped-down, so should be used with the bevel up.

Black painted wooden handles are 4 1/4" (110mm) long.

Ground to 25 degrees with good long bevels.

Will require a final honing prior to use.  If you want us to do this for you select the ‘add Honing + £6’ option above.

Both sizes of the Oxhead Drawknife are available with either a leather or wooden sheath as an option. Select from the 'add Sheath' drop-down box above.
