Ochsenkopf Debarking Spud is a long handled tool to quickly remove light or heavy bark from medium-large trees, and can also remove small branches.

With your tree safely felled and horizontal on the ground, this tool is used two-handed to put some force into peeling the bark off the stem.

If you do this when the sap is rising during April to July, this work will be easy and highly satisfying.

• The forged blade has three edges, the leading edge is 145mm (5 3/4") wide.

• Overall length including handle 1370mm (54").

• Includes a robust oval handle, in varnished ash, attached to the blade via an open tapered socket.

The head can be additionally secured with a screw if required, which is not included.
