Imacasa Billhook Classic 10" is a lightweight billhook style cutting tool, probably best used as a short handled slashing tool to cut back relatively soft vegetation such as brambles. 

Note: this is not a forged product but if you're looking for a relatively low cost tool to cut back light vegetation, then this is the tool you are looking for. If you're looking for a traditional billhook of better quality, for heavier duty coppicing work - take a look at the Ray Iles Newtown Billhook. 

Select from three options:

• Blade only, no handle

• 9" (230mm) short ash handle.  Total length 19" (480mm) approx.

• 13" (330mm) long ash handle. Total length 23" (580mm) approx.

Please note, the design of the handle may change slightly from that illustrated in our images. 

Handles are attached by means of a formed, round tapered socket and a single screw. 

Made from English 420 High Carbon surgical quality Stainless Steel or German 1075 High Carbon Steel. The blade is heat treated and annealed to about 52-54 Rockwell, and comes with a factory grind so will need a final honing before use.

Blade is made in El Salvador by Imacasa and the ash handle is hand turned in the UK by Woodsmith.
