Made by a small Swedish company called Helsinge Design located in the north of Sweden.

The game was invented by Paul Alford who came to Sweden about 10 years ago. He was into darts and when he got the job as Gränsfors Bruk's Master axe smith he combined English darts with the Swedish tradition of axe throwing.

When Paul finished his job at Gränsfors Bruk he started his own company with his friend Dan Brock Petersén and the Small Viking Axe Game was born!

Looked really cool, but didn't love up to the hype. Wouldn't stock into wood we set up as a target and the heads chipped on the first throw, shafts broke on the second. No instructions with this kit so we only had some really basic info from a YouTube promo video. Maybe of the axe heads were sharper, or maybe the shafts need to be made of something stronger. Really liked the looks of it but at 55 quid they need to do more then look nice. Bought 2 sets for presents at Christmas and both people have had issues. Could have bought a full size throwing axe for the money.
